Breast Feeding

Breastfeeding is the natural and recommended method of providing nourishment to infants through a mother's breast milk. It offers a wide range of health benefits for both the baby and the mother.

For infants, breast milk is a complete and easily digestible source of nutrition that contains essential nutrients, antibodies, and beneficial bacteria that help protect against infections and diseases. It also promotes healthy growth and development, particularly in the early months of life. Breastfeeding is associated with a reduced risk of allergies, obesity, and certain chronic illnesses in children.

For mothers, breastfeeding can aid in postpartum recovery by helping the uterus contract and reducing bleeding. It also promotes bonding between the mother and baby and may lower the risk of certain cancers and diseases. Additionally, it is a convenient and cost-effective way to feed an infant, as breast milk is always available at the right temperature, requires no preparation, and is free.
